Welcome to Our Way to Exceptional Care Together
The Conversation is now closed. Thank you so much to everyone who got involved!
Our independent partner, Clever Together, are now busy analysing everything that was said.
The Conversation closes in...
Why are we doing this?
UHDB's Exceptional Care Together strategy was launched in 2019, but the world we are now in is very different post-pandemic, and we are facing different challenges.
To reflect this new landscape, we want to refresh our strategy based on input from you, our patients and communities, and our external partners. We must set the direction and come together to achieve our vision.
How does it work?
The online Conversation works a bit like a social media platform; you can join around your work patterns and contribute as much or as little as you like, at a time that suits you.
The draft strategy will be shared through the Conversation platform so that everyone can read, vote and comment on specific parts. You can also share Ideas and interact with the Ideas your colleagues have shared.
The process is anonymous and independently facilitated, meaning everybody can feel safe sharing their honest thoughts and feelings. The Clever Together Facilitators will help you expand on your ideas and keep the Conversation on track. The Conversation is:
- Anonymous – your name is not attached to anything you share
- For everyone that works at UHDB
- Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week while the Conversation is live
- Accessible from wherever you may be – on any computer, tablet or smartphone
- Analysed independently, so you can feel safe to share how you really feel
What should I expect?
Our Way to Exceptional Care Together is open from 6 February until 12:00 pm on 23 February 2024.
Once this Conversation closes, our independent partner, Clever Together, will analyse everything that was said and provide an in-depth report of the findings.
We will then use the report to prepare a refreshed strategy for our Board to consider. After that, we’ll be getting on with the work to make sure everyone knows our priorities so we can deliver exceptional care together.
